SmartScreen Help

Windows SmartScreen may show a warning when you first run TotalRecalls. This is expected for unsigned apps.

Steps

  1. Click "More info" in the SmartScreen dialog.
  2. Click "Run anyway".
  3. TotalRecalls will launch normally.

Why This Happens

SmartScreen uses reputation-based detection. New or uncommon executables trigger the warning. Once enough users run the app, the warning disappears automatically.
